Our lesson begins with an exciting story that opens our students' minds to the exciting world of STEM. Our students are engaged and it allows them to use their imagination and critical thinking skills. One of the goals of our trained instructors is to inspire our youths to want to become an important part of society. Using building blocks in conjunction with other tools and mechanical parts, our students develop their construction skills.

Lessons begin with a brief demonstration that is immediately followed by the construction of young engineers' models. Bricks Challenge participants use our set of building blocks exclusively made by the Young Engineers research and development team. Each lesson inspires students to create, build and learn through a fun and entertaining Bricks Challenge experience.

How Bricks Challenge works

Bricks Challenge

Bricks Challenge introduces students to important scientific concepts while introducing inventors such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Sir Isaac Newton, Archimedes, and others. Each of these inventors has played an important role in the development of science and technology today.

We use their stories to inspire and educate our young engineers.Bricks Challenge participants learn about many topics in classical mechanics, including the following:

  • the laws of physics
  • the centrifugal forcethe centripetal force
  • the force of inertiathe kinetic energythe potential energy
  • the action-reaction law
  • the lift force
  • the torque, the leverage points
  • load distribution
  • conservation of force
  • angular momentum
  • and more.

Students learn the mathematical skills necessary to perform the scientific calculations required to build their models.

Bricks Challenge objectives

  • Foster planning and time management skills
  • Encourage independent creative thinking
  • Develop the ability to analyze engineering processes
  • Expand knowledge of the laws of physics and various natural phenomena
  • Improve spatial recognition
  • Cultivate a sense of self-efficacy
  • Develop interpersonal communication skills
  • etc.
